Seeking a compassionate, patient-focused Lead Clinical Therapist to lead a team of Therapists at an outpatient mental health clinic located in Penn Yan, NY.
The Lead Therapist will undertake planning, problem-solving, and quality improvement activities, provide clinical supervision to the clinical team and assist the department director in ensuring smooth, effective care delivery in response to client and community needs.
The clinic offers individual and family therapy for children, adolescents, and adults with mental health and behavioral issues in an outpatient setting. The clinic is staffed with licensed social workers, licensed mental health counselors, care managers, and a psychiatrist, offering a truly collaborative approach to care.
The clinic also offers Care Management Services to individuals in need of assistance. These services help individuals navigate through other medical services such as community agencies, housing programs, medications, and social services benefits. The clinic operates within a hospital setting, which offers 24-hour crisis services for prompt care of psychiatric emergencies within the Emergency Department.
Who Will Be a Great Fit?
- Master’s degree in Social Work with Certification
- License: LCSW, or LCSW-R - New York State
- BLS required through the RQI system during clinical orientation. CPI certification obtained within 90 days of hire.
- 1 year experience in a mental health or hospital setting Preferred: 3 years of experience in a mental health setting.
