Responsibilities:
As the Director of Diagnostic Imaging and Cardiopulmonary Services, you will report to the Vice President & Site Administrator and be responsible for ensuring the quality and service delivery within the Diagnostic Imaging, Cardiopulmonary, and Scheduling Service departments. Your duties will encompass planning, directing, coordinating, and evaluating activities related to diagnostic imaging and cardiopulmonary services, in alignment with organizational management practices and in adherence to established policies, procedures, standards, and regulations. You will oversee Diagnostic Imaging across the enterprise, Cardiac Rehabilitation across the enterprise, Cardiopulmonary Services throughout the GGH enterprise, Scheduling Services, and Respiratory Care at SSMH. In addition, you will be a member of the Corporate Compliance Committee, Radiation Safety Committee, and other assigned committees.

Who Will Be a Great Fit?  

Education Requirements:

  • Minimum: Bachelor of Science (BS) degree
  • Preferred: Master's in Business or a related field

License: NYS Radiologic Technologist or relevant clinical license

Experience:

  • Minimum: 5 years of supervisory experience in Diagnostic Imaging and/or Cardiology
  • Preferred: AHRA Certification

Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to work effectively in a complex, multi-entity health system
  • Proficient in project management
  • Capable of working under pressure and meeting deadlines
  • Strong multitasking and prioritization skills
  • Familiarity with JCAHO, NYSDOH, and other regulatory requirements
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, written and oral communication, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to interact professionally and courteously with the public
