Overview: We're looking for a clinical leader to fill the pivotal role of the Registered Nurse - Director of Nursing (DON). The ideal candidate possesses exceptional communication and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to foster camaraderie and teamwork.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing nurse staffing, training, development, and personnel management in the Nursing Services Department of a residential health care facility.
• Assessing, planning, documenting, and providing quality nursing care services to residents.
• Coordinating medical and pharmaceutical services in collaboration with the Medical Director, Pharmacy Consultant, and Major Vendor Pharmacy.
• Ensuring proper placement for resident care in coordination with facility staff and Attending Physician.
• Coordinating interdisciplinary health care services for residents provided by facility staff, other service providers, and consultants.
• Participating in and promoting Quality Management activities and programs for continuous improvement in nursing services.

Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State (NYS).
