Key Responsibilities:

  • Therapeutic Exercise: Instruct patients on proper therapeutic exercise techniques to facilitate recovery.

  • Equipment Assistance: Guide patients in the effective use of mobility aids, such as wheelchairs and walkers.
  • Record Keeping: Diligently maintain patient records, tracking goals, and monitoring progress to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • In-Home Care Guidance: Educate patients and their families on in-home treatment strategies and exercises.
  • Quality Standards: Establish and enforce high-quality standards for services, managing related reports and documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy Program is essential.
  • Licensure: Must hold valid in-state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist, with a preference for candidates with home health experience.
