Registered Nurse RN Specialty Coordinator

About the Role:

As an RN Specialty Coordinator under the direct supervision of the Surgery Manager, you will exhibit leadership and administrative competence in coordinating a surgery specialty service-line. You will be the backbone of our Surgical Services Department, applying your deep knowledge of policies and nursing practices to ensure smooth operation and resource utilization within budgetary guidelines. Your role is critical in representing the department's interests and ensuring the highest standards of care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate day-to-day operations of a designated surgery specialty service-line.
  • Ensure adherence to established policies and nursing practice guidelines.
  • Manage human and material resources within established budgetary constraints.
  • Represent the Surgical Services Department in planning and decision-making processes.
  • Collaborate with the Surgery Manager and other team members to achieve operational goals.

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited Nursing program.
  • Valid California Registered Nurse License upon hire.
  • American Heart Association National Provider BLS certification upon hire.
  • CNOR certification upon hire.
  • At least 1 year of Nursing experience with demonstrated leadership abilities.

Preferred Skills:

  • Proven leadership and administrative skills in an operating room setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
