About the Role:

We are actively seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager to enhance our 4N Surgical team in Anchorage, Alaska. This full-time role is pivotal in fostering an environment of compassionate care accessible to all, especially the most poor and vulnerable in our community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise nursing personnel and coordinate daily department operations in alignment with our mission and core values.
  • Serve as a role model for professional behavior, fostering a team-centric atmosphere.
  • Engage in mentoring under the guidance of a Clinical Manager/Director and actively pursue leadership training opportunities.
  • Participate in strategic projects aiming to achieve the hospital's operational and fiscal goals.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
  • Valid Alaska Registered Nurse License upon hire.
  • BLS Certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
  • At least 3 years of clinical experience and 2 years of clinical supervisory or charge nurse experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing, with the expectation to obtain the degree within 30 months of hire if not already held.
  • Professional certification in nursing management or specific clinical area.
