About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Patient Access Supervisor to lead our dedicated team in the beautiful Finger Lakes Region of New York. Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Management: Oversee all Patient Access employees, ensuring adherence to departmental and organizational goals. Provide Meditech training and cover shifts as needed.
- Scheduling & Payroll: Prepare schedules to ensure departmental needs are met and handle payroll processing.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor work accuracy and compliance with payer and regulatory requirements. Conduct reviews and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
- Policy Development: Assist in creating and maintaining policies and procedures to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
- Data Integrity: Verify daily census and monitor for errors that could delay claims processing, taking corrective action as necessary.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Required: High School Diploma; one year of medical office experience; knowledge of revenue cycle, accounts receivable, medical terminology, CPT and ICD10 coding; proficiency in cash collections and data entry; strong communication skills.
- Preferred: Supervisory experience; familiarity with Microsoft Office; knowledge of State and Federal Regulatory requirements and JCAHO standards; bilingual capabilities.
