We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our dynamic medical imaging team in Syracuse, NY. This exciting 3-month contract position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology, including 3T MRI machines and CT scanners, while providing exceptional patient care.
• Assess patient health status and prepare them for CT/MR contrast procedures
• Administer medications and perform IV insertions with precision
• Monitor patients for contrast reactions and provide immediate care if needed
• Access and de-access ports and PICCs safely and efficiently
• Collaborate with radiologists and technologists to ensure smooth workflow
• Educate patients and families on imaging procedures and aftercare
• Maintain accurate medical records and adhere to healthcare protocols
• Rotate occasionally to our Camillus, NY clinic (15 minutes west of Syracuse)
• Active Registered Nurse license in New York State
• Current BLS certification through American Heart Association
• ACLS certification preferred but not required
• Strong IV skills and experience with contrast administration
• Ability to work around 3T magnets and other imaging equipment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Adaptability to fast-paced medical environments
