We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Operating Room Nurse Manager to join our Level 2 Trauma Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and manage a busy surgical department, overseeing daily operations, ensuring quality care, and maintaining regulatory compliance.
• Oversee daily operations of a 15-room Operating Room suite, managing 30-60 cases per day
• Lead and mentor a team of 100 FTEs, including CVOR Manager and Clinical Nurse Coordinators
• Collaborate with nursing staff, medical staff, and interdepartmental teams
• Ensure compliance with quality and regulatory requirements
• Participate in on-call rotation with Director and another Manager
• Contribute to management of Central Sterile, Same Day Surgery, PACU, and Endoscopy departments
• Implement age-appropriate patient care strategies across all surgical specialties
• Current Utah RN license or compact state license
• CNOR certification (or obtained within 12 months of hire)
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (Master's preferred)
• Minimum 2 years leadership experience in hospital operating room setting
• Level 2 Trauma Center experience preferred
• Strong circulator experience required
• BLS or BCLS certification from American Red Cross or American Heart Association
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in OR management software and EHR systems
