This role offers an opportunity to work autonomously, make critical clinical assessments, and collaborate with a supportive interdisciplinary team in our patient-centered care model.
• Conduct comprehensive patient health assessments and data collection
• Develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Advocate for patient safety and well-being within the interdisciplinary team
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Educate patients and families about procedures, medications, and post-discharge care
• Ensure efficient use of time, supplies, and equipment
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
• Current Florida RN license or multi-state license (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
• Minimum 1 year of acute care RN experience
• BLS certification (AHA Healthcare Provider) required before starting
• NIH Stroke Scale certification (to be obtained within 30 days of employment)
• Nursing Diploma or ASN (BSN preferred)
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proficiency in electronic health record systems
