Key Responsibilities:
• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced CVICU environment
• Perform regular assessments and monitor critically ill patients
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Advocate for patients and families, ensuring privacy and confidentiality
• Educate patients and families on medications and treatment plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in patient care
Requirements:
• Active Registered Nurse license in Florida (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
• Minimum 1 year of Acute Care RN experience
• Current BLS certification
• ACLS certification (required within 6 months of hire)
• BSN preferred
• CCRN certification (must be obtained within 2 years)
• NIHSS stroke certification (required within 30 days)
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
