We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our dynamic rehabilitation team in Troy, PA. This part-time role offers a perfect blend of inpatient and outpatient care, providing a diverse and rewarding experience in occupational therapy.
• Collaborate with Occupational Therapists (OTs) to develop and implement effective rehabilitation plans
• Conduct therapy sessions, focusing on improving patients' daily living activities
• Assist patients in using specialized equipment to enhance their functional independence
• Monitor and document patient progress using advanced rehab software
• Provide encouragement and support to patients throughout their therapy journey
• Adapt therapy activities to meet individual patient needs and capabilities
• Ensure proper execution of patient activities for optimal outcomes
• Communicate patient progress effectively to the supervising OT
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Current and valid Pennsylvania OTA license
• Experience in rehabilitation settings (inpatient and outpatient)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency in using rehabilitation software for documentation
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
