This position is responsible for oversight of all nursing services delivered within the Voluntary and Involuntary inpatient population.
Director of Nursing will organize, direct, supervise and evaluate all nursing staff. Work to improve medical outcomes and improve the quality of medical services provided.
Previous experience with behavioral health populations is required.
- Coordinate medical services with program directors and other necessary personnel;
- Aid in development of new programs;
- Review and revise medical policies and procedures, as needed;
- Ensure the maintenance of records and reports concerning all patient care delivered;
- Direct orientation, training, supervision, and retention of nurses;
- Assist with physicians' schedules to ensure daily coverage;
- Complete rounds of the facilities to ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and regulations;
- Provide 24 hour On-Call availability for critical incidents and emergencies;
- Supervise LPN's, RNs, and MA/CNA's
Qualifications:
BSN in Nursing is Required.
Registered in WA as a Registered Nurse required.
