The CT Technologist performs technical procedures, applying ionizing radiation for the purpose of detecting pathology. Regulates equipment used to expose the x-ray image as well as process and organize the image in PACS.
Education Requirements:
Associate Degree or equivalent in Radiological Technology required
Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and CT concepts to include head, body, MSK, spine and chest imaging
Experience Requirements:
1yr min CT exp required; 3 yrs CT exp preferred
Certification/Licensure Requirements:
FL State Registered Radiologic Technician License
Registered Radiographer (ARRT)
Registered Computerized Tomography Technician
Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS
