Emergency Department Nurse Manager (RN) - Level II Trauma Center

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight of the Emergency Department
- Serve as primary unit leader in Director's absence
- Optimize staffing levels and resource allocation based on patient volume and acuity
- Develop and implement clinical standards and protocols
- Lead recruitment, training, and professional development initiatives
- Foster interdepartmental collaboration to enhance patient care delivery
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital policies
- Drive continuous quality improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications:
- Current RN licensure in Virginia or multi-state compact license
- Minimum 5 years of ER nursing experience
- Proven ER management experience
- Current BLS certification
- Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing
Preferred Qualifications:
- BSN degree or current enrollment in BSN program
- TNCC, ACLS, PALS certifications
- Emergency nursing certification (CEN)
- Leadership experience in Level I or II trauma center
