Senior Respiratory Therapist - Critical Care Specialist

As the primary respiratory care provider during your shift, you'll play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care while utilizing advanced clinical skills, including intubation expertise.
Core Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary respiratory therapist during assigned shifts
- Perform and assist with emergency intubations
- Provide respiratory care across multiple departments including ED, Surgery, and Critical Care
- Assess, treat, and monitor patients' cardiopulmonary status
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Respond to emergency situations throughout the facility
Required Qualifications:
- Valid Virginia Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License
- NBRC certification as CRT or RRT
- Current BLS certification from American Heart Association
- ACLS certification or EKG & Pharmacology Course completion
- Minimum 3 years of clinical respiratory therapy experience
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
