Clinical Laboratory Supervisor - Medical Technology (MT/MLS/CLS)

In this leadership role, you'll oversee laboratory operations, manage a team of skilled professionals, and ensure regulatory compliance while maintaining the highest standards of patient care.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of medical laboratory professionals while managing daily operations
• Ensure compliance with CLIA, CAP, and state regulatory requirements
• Oversee quality control programs and maintain laboratory accreditation standards
• Manage specimen processing, testing procedures, and result reporting
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement best practices
• Coordinate with other departments to optimize workflow and patient care
• Monitor and maintain laboratory equipment and supplies
• Participate in budget management and resource allocation

Required Qualifications:

• Current State of Tennessee Medical Laboratory Supervisor General License
• Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related field
• National certification (ASCP, AMT, or AAB)
• 5+ years of experience as a Medical Technologist
• Strong proficiency in laboratory information systems and Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent leadership and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous supervisory experience in a clinical laboratory setting
• Licensure in three technical specialty areas
• Medi-tech experience
• Master's degree in related field
