Clinical Nurse Coordinator - Progressive Care Unit (PCU/Telemetry)

Position Overview
As the Clinical Nurse Coordinator, you'll lead a specialized unit managing complex cardiac cases, neurological conditions, and critical care patients. Our PCU specializes in chest pain management, cardiac monitoring, stroke care, and advanced medication administration, including specialized cardiac drips.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of a 25-bed Progressive Care/Telemetry Unit
- Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Manage patient care workflows, including admissions, transfers, and discharges
- Provide mentorship and clinical guidance to nursing staff
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and quality standards
- Coordinate staff scheduling and resource allocation
- Monitor and evaluate nursing care delivery and patient satisfaction metrics
Required Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Proven experience as a Charge Nurse in a Progressive Care or Telemetry setting
- BCLS certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- ACLS certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- NIHSS Stroke Certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Strong clinical experience with cardiac monitoring and critical care drips
