Position Overview
As Clinical Nurse Coordinator, you'll lead our oncology nursing team in delivering exceptional patient-centered care while ensuring operational excellence. This role combines clinical leadership, staff development, and quality improvement initiatives to drive superior patient outcomes.
Essential Responsibilities
- Direct and coordinate patient care delivery, including admission and discharge processes
- Lead quality assessment initiatives and implement improvement strategies
- Foster interdisciplinary collaboration to enhance patient outcomes
- Drive patient satisfaction through service excellence and recovery initiatives
- Implement and monitor nursing best practices, including hourly rounding
- Participate in staff recruitment, development, and performance management
- Manage scheduling and resource allocation to optimize patient care
- Oversee inventory control and equipment management
Required Qualifications
- Current Texas RN license or compact state licensure
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Minimum 1 year of recent leadership experience in acute care oncology setting
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- Ability to obtain ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification within 60 days
- Strong clinical knowledge of oncology nursing practices
- Excellence in communication and team leadership
