CVOR Nurse Manager (RN) - Cardiovascular Operating Room Leadership

Essential Responsibilities:
- Partner with the Director of Surgical Services to align department initiatives with facility-wide strategic objectives
- Lead and mentor a team of highly skilled OR nurses and surgical staff
- Drive continuous quality improvement through performance monitoring and best practice implementation
- Oversee clinical operations of the cardiovascular operating room
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain surgical safety standards
- Facilitate staff development and maintain clinical competencies
- Manage resource allocation and schedule optimization
Required Qualifications:
- Current Texas RN license or Multi-State Compact License (Texas license required within 90 days)
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- 3-5 years of recent CVOR leadership experience within the last year
- Current BLS Certification through American Heart Association
- Strong understanding of cardiovascular surgical procedures and protocols
- Excellence in team leadership and interpersonal communication
Preferred Qualifications:
- CNOR Certification
- Master's degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration
- Experience with quality improvement initiatives
