Blood Cancer Unit Director - Oncology Nurse Leader

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Oncology Nursing Director to lead our prestigious Blood Cancer and Stem Cell Unit. This leadership role offers the opportunity to shape patient care excellence while driving innovative healthcare solutions in a state-of-the-art facility in Texas.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic oversight and leadership for all Blood Cancer and Stem Cell Unit operations
• Develop and implement cost-effective systems to optimize departmental performance
• Drive clinical excellence and quality patient care initiatives
• Manage and mentor clinical staff while fostering a positive work environment
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, staff, and administrators
• Monitor and enhance patient satisfaction metrics
• Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain accreditation standards
• Oversee budget management and resource allocation

Required Qualifications:

• Current RN licensure in Texas or compact license
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (Master's preferred)
• Minimum 5 years recent acute care leadership experience in Blood Cancer Unit
• BLS certification from AHA or American Red Cross
• ACLS certification required within 12 months of hire
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Demonstrated experience in oncology nursing leadership
