Position Overview

As the Clinical Nurse Coordinator, you'll serve as a key clinical leader in our Emergency Department, bridging the gap between direct patient care and operational excellence. This role offers the perfect blend of clinical practice and leadership responsibilities.

Essential Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate emergency care delivery across multidisciplinary teams
• Oversee patient flow, including admissions and discharges
• Implement and monitor quality improvement initiatives
• Provide mentorship and clinical guidance to ED nursing staff
• Collaborate with leadership to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction
• Manage staff scheduling and resource allocation
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational policies

Required Qualifications

• Current Texas RN license or compact license
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• 1-2 years recent ED Charge RN experience (within the last year)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification

Required Certifications (can be obtained after hire)

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (within 30 days)
• Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (within 18 months)
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (within 18 months)
