Clinical NICU Nurse Coordinator - Level IV NICU | Leadership Opportunity

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical leadership and oversight for a Level IV NICU unit during assigned shifts
  • Direct patient care coordination, including complex admission and discharge processes
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives and monitor clinical outcomes
  • Mentor and develop nursing staff while fostering a collaborative team environment
  • Implement evidence-based practices and ensure compliance with healthcare standards
  • Manage staffing schedules and resource allocation to optimize patient care
  • Participate in performance improvement and staff development programs
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care

Required Qualifications:

  • Current Texas RN license or compact license
  • BSN required (MSN preferred)
  • Minimum 2 years recent (within last year) Level IV NICU charge nurse experience
  • Current BLS certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
  • Current NRP certification (American Heart Association)
  • Current STABLE certification
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Experience with quality improvement initiatives
