Core Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate patient care delivery in our advanced Telemetry Unit
  • Drive clinical excellence through staff development and quality improvement initiatives
  • Optimize patient flow through efficient admission and discharge management
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes
  • Implement evidence-based practices and quality improvement measures
  • Manage staff scheduling and resource allocation
  • Participate in recruitment, training, and performance management
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational policies

Required Qualifications:

  • Current Texas RN license or compact license
  • BSN degree (MSN preferred)
  • Minimum 2 years recent acute care Telemetry Charge Nurse experience (within the last year)
  • Current BLS certification from AHA or American Red Cross
  • ACLS certification (must obtain within 30 days of employment)
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Experience with electronic health records and clinical documentation
