Administrative Director of Emergency Services | Level I Trauma Center Leadership

We're seeking an experienced, dynamic healthcare leader to join our award-winning hospital as Administrative Director of Emergency Services. In this pivotal role, you'll oversee our Emergency Services Department, Free-Standing Emergency Department, and Emergency Management operations, driving excellence in patient care while managing a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead strategic planning and operational excellence initiatives for emergency services
• Drive continuous quality improvement through data-driven decision making
• Manage departmental budgets, resources, and capital equipment planning
• Develop and implement evidence-based clinical protocols and standards
• Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain accreditation standards
• Foster a culture of excellence in patient care and employee engagement
• Oversee performance improvement programs and quality metrics
• Build and maintain strong interdepartmental relationships
• Lead staff development and succession planning initiatives

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years recent acute care ED Director experience
• BSN required, MSN/MHA/MBA required
• Current RN licensure or eligibility in state of practice
• ACLS and PALS certification
• Strong financial acumen and operational management experience
• Excellence in team leadership and change management

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN)
• Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC)
• Experience with Lean/Six Sigma methodologies
