Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of pediatric emergency care professionals
• Drive clinical excellence and quality patient outcomes through evidence-based practices
• Oversee department operations, including staffing, scheduling, and resource management
• Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain healthcare accreditation standards
• Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives
• Manage departmental budget and identify cost optimization opportunities

Required Qualifications

• BSN required, MSN preferred
• Current Texas RN license or active Compact license
• 3-5 years pediatric emergency department experience
• 3-5 years leadership experience in acute care setting
• BLS, ACLS certifications
• PALS certification (required within 90 days)
• CPN certification preferred
