CVICU Nursing Manager - Critical Care Leadership Opportunity

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Direct daily operations and staff management of the CVICU department
  • Implement evidence-based practices to enhance patient safety and clinical outcomes
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives and maintain regulatory compliance
  • Oversee patient care delivery and ensure optimal staffing levels
  • Manage departmental budget and resource allocation
  • Foster interdisciplinary collaboration and care coordination
  • Drive patient experience excellence and staff engagement
  • Develop and mentor clinical staff

Required Qualifications:

  • Current RN license required
  • Minimum 1-2 years of recent CVICU leadership experience (Manager or Supervisor level preferred)
  • 3-5 years of staff-level CVICU clinical experience
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing required (BSN preferred)
  • Current BCLS certification (or obtain within 30 days)
  • ACLS certification (or obtain within 6 months)
  • NIH Stroke Scale certification (or obtain within 30 days)
  • PALS certification (or obtain within 60 months)
