Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) - Level II Trauma Center

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver expert emergency nursing care through patient triage, assessment, and treatment
• Manage multiple high-acuity cases simultaneously while maintaining exceptional patient care standards
• Develop and implement individualized patient care plans for diverse emergency situations
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, specialists, and support staff
• Provide comprehensive discharge planning and patient education
• Ensure compliance with all hospital protocols and safety standards

Required Qualifications:

• Current Florida RN license or multi-state compact license
• Minimum 1 year acute care experience within last 3 years (3+ years Med/Surg experience preferred)
• Associate Degree in Nursing or higher
• BLS certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
• Ability to obtain ACLS, PALS, and Nonviolent Crisis Intervention within 90 days
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous ER or Trauma Center experience
• BSN degree
• Current certifications in ACLS, PALS, and TNCC
• Critical care experience (ICU, CVICU, NICU, PICU)
