Director of Surgical Services - Perioperative Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Surgical Services to lead our state-of-the-art perioperative department. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic oversight and 24/7 leadership for all perioperative services operations
• Drive clinical excellence through evidence-based practices and quality improvement initiatives
• Develop and implement comprehensive surgical services programs aligned with hospital mission
• Lead performance improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency and patient satisfaction
• Manage departmental budget, resources, and staffing to optimize service delivery
• Foster a culture of safety and regulatory compliance across surgical services
• Mentor and develop staff through coaching, feedback, and professional development planning
• Build collaborative relationships with surgeons, staff, and interdepartmental stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and accreditation standards

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required
• Current RN licensure in state of practice
• Minimum 3 years of perioperative leadership experience
• Strong knowledge of surgical services operations and regulatory requirements
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field
• CNOR certification
• CSSM certification
• Experience with electronic health records and scheduling systems
