Position Overview

As our Senior Occupational Therapist, you will provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment services across both inpatient and outpatient settings. Working with a diverse patient population spanning all age groups, you'll develop and implement therapeutic interventions that enhance patients' quality of life and functional independence.

Essential Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients using evidence-based occupational therapy interventions
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on physician prescriptions and patient needs
• Provide specialized hand therapy treatments and interventions
• Lead and mentor support staff while ensuring optimal patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and program development
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety standards

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Current Florida State Occupational Therapy License
• Valid BLS Certification
• Strong clinical reasoning and assessment skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-2 years specialized experience in hand therapy
• CHT certification or working toward certification
• Experience with electronic health records
