Senior Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Essential Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive respiratory care procedures for patients of all age groups
- Manage and operate advanced acute care ventilators for both short and long-term mechanical ventilation
- Implement complex respiratory therapy protocols and treatments independently
- Monitor and evaluate patient response to therapy
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Serve as a clinical resource in the absence of Team Leader
Required Qualifications:
- Current Florida RRT license or eligible for state licensure
- Minimum 1 year of acute care RRT experience
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in EMR systems and medical technology
