Senior Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Senior Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) in beautiful Fort Lauderdale, Florida. We're seeking an experienced respiratory care professional to deliver exceptional patient care in our state-of-the-art acute care facility.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive respiratory care procedures for patients of all age groups
  • Manage and operate advanced acute care ventilators for both short and long-term mechanical ventilation
  • Implement complex respiratory therapy protocols and treatments independently
  • Monitor and evaluate patient response to therapy
  • Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives
  • Serve as a clinical resource in the absence of Team Leader

Required Qualifications:

  • Current Florida RRT license or eligible for state licensure
  • Minimum 1 year of acute care RRT experience
  • BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficiency in EMR systems and medical technology
