Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Critical Care Specialist

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in beautiful Florida! We're seeking an experienced respiratory care professional to provide exceptional patient care in our state-of-the-art acute care facility.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive respiratory care treatments and therapies according to physician orders
  • Manage and operate advanced respiratory equipment including ventilators and life support systems
  • Perform and interpret Arterial Blood Gas (ABG) analyses
  • Set up and maintain both routine and specialized respiratory therapy equipment
  • Provide patient and family education regarding respiratory care and treatments
  • Monitor patient responses and adjust care plans accordingly
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare team members
  • Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year acute care experience in ICU, CVICU, NICU, PICU, or Critical Care settings
  • Active Florida State Respiratory License
  • NBRC RRT/CRT certification
  • Current BLS certification
  • Ability to obtain ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications within 30 days of employment
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
