Cardiac Telemetry & Neuro RN - Critical Care Unit | Relocation Available
Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Cardiac Telemetry and Neuro Registered Nurse in our state-of-the-art 27-bed critical care unit. We're seeking an experienced RN to provide exceptional patient care for our cardiac and neurological patients, including post-CAB, MI, and stroke cases. As a vital member of our clinical team, you'll work in a collaborative environment focused on delivering superior patient outcomes.
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, and intervention
- Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry readings for critical care patients
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Perform neurological assessments using NIHSS protocols
- Coordinate care with multidisciplinary healthcare team members
- Provide patient and family education regarding treatment and recovery
- Document patient care using electronic health records
Required Qualifications:
- Current Florida State RN license (or ability to obtain within 90 days if holding compact license)
- Minimum 3 years recent acute care RN experience
- Proven telemetry and cardiac care experience
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
- Ability to obtain NIHSS certification within 30 days of hire
- Nursing Diploma or ASN (BSN preferred)
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
