Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (Med-Surg RN) - Acute Care

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Coordinate and deliver direct patient care in a fast-paced medical-surgical unit
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document patient care activities and maintain accurate medical records
• Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols
• Provide patient and family education regarding care, medications, and procedures
• Monitor and evaluate patient responses to treatments
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Current Florida RN license or eligible for licensure
• 1 year of recent RN experience (acute care preferred, LTAC experience considered)
• Current BLS certification
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

• BSN degree
• ACLS certification (required within 6 months of hire)
• Previous acute care experience
