Position Overview

As Director of Infection Prevention & Control, you will lead our infection control initiatives, oversee epidemiological surveillance, and ensure regulatory compliance while managing a team of dedicated professionals in a dynamic healthcare environment that includes a Children's Hospital.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and evaluate organization-wide infection prevention programs and protocols
• Ensure compliance with TJC, CMS, OSHA, and state regulatory requirements
• Lead outbreak investigations and coordinate with local and state health departments
• Manage epidemiological surveillance and data analysis programs
• Develop and implement staff education and training initiatives
• Oversee a team of 4 direct reports
• Collaborate with multiple departments to maintain safety standards

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (Master's in Public Health preferred)
• Current RN license with Certification in Infection Control (CIC)
• 5+ years of infection prevention experience in acute care settings
• 2+ years of leadership experience
• Proven expertise in epidemiology and infectious disease control
• Strong analytical and data management skills
• Georgia RN license (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
