Cardiac Care Registered Nurse (RN) - Progressive Care Unit

Essential Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess cardiac patients' conditions, including ECG interpretation and arrhythmia detection
• Provide specialized care for diverse patient populations aged 16 and older
• Manage critical cardiac monitoring and therapeutic interventions
• Coordinate patient care with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Administer and monitor cardiac medications and drips
• Implement evidence-based nursing care protocols
• Respond to and manage emergency situations effectively
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and risk management

Required Qualifications:

• Current RN license in Missouri or Multistate Compact License
• Minimum 1 year acute care nursing experience
• Nursing degree (Diploma, ADN, or BSN)
• Current BLS certification
• Ability to obtain ACLS certification within first year
• Strong critical thinking and assessment skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
