Medical Telemetry Unit Manager - Clinical Nursing Leadership

Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage daily operations of the Medical Telemetry Unit, ensuring optimal patient care and staff performance
• Drive implementation of evidence-based clinical practices to enhance patient safety and quality outcomes
• Oversee staff scheduling, development, and performance management for a team of healthcare professionals
• Monitor and maintain compliance with regulatory standards, policies, and procedures
• Manage departmental budget and resource allocation effectively
• Champion patient experience initiatives and maintain high satisfaction scores
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and clinical excellence
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve organizational goals

Required Qualifications:

• Current RN license in state of practice or active compact license
• Minimum 5 years of RN experience
• 2+ years of recent acute care leadership experience (within the last year)
• BCLS certification required at hire
• ACLS certification required within 30 days of hire
• Strong clinical and operational leadership capabilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
