Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner (NP) / Physician Assistant (PA) - Florida Keys

Position Overview

This unique dual-facility role offers an outstanding opportunity to practice high-quality emergency medicine while enjoying the stunning backdrop of the Florida Keys. You'll work in modern, well-equipped emergency departments in both Marathon and Tavernier, serving diverse patient populations in these vibrant coastal communities.

Essential Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans in emergency settings
• Manage acute and chronic conditions across diverse patient populations
• Coordinate patient care with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Utilize Cerner EMR system for documentation and patient care management
• Ensure efficient patient flow while maintaining high-quality care standards
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety protocols

Required Qualifications

• Graduate degree from an accredited NP or PA program
• Active Florida state licensure or eligibility
• Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, and ATLS certifications
• Strong clinical decision-making and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Emergency medicine experience preferred

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive salary: $160,000 - $180,000 annually
• Independent contractor status ($85/hour)
• Flexible 12-hour shifts (12 PM - 8 PM)
