Clinical Unit Manager - Labor & Delivery / Women's Health Services

Join our prestigious healthcare facility in Austin, Texas as a Clinical Unit Manager overseeing our Labor & Delivery department. In this leadership role, you'll drive clinical excellence, shape patient care standards, and lead a dedicated team of healthcare professionals in delivering exceptional maternal care services.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a dynamic team of L&D nurses while ensuring evidence-based clinical practices
• Drive quality metrics and patient satisfaction scores through strategic initiatives
• Oversee daily operations, staffing, and resource management of the L&D unit
• Implement and maintain clinical protocols aligned with regulatory requirements
• Facilitate interdepartmental collaboration to ensure seamless patient care
• Manage unit budget and operational efficiency
• Champion patient safety and quality improvement initiatives
• Drive staff development and maintain clinical competencies

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• Current RN licensure in Texas or compact state eligibility
• Minimum 3 years L&D clinical experience
• 1+ year leadership experience in healthcare
• BLS certification required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration
• RNC-OB certification
• NRP and ACLS certifications
• Fetal Heart Monitoring certification
• Previous experience with quality improvement initiatives
