Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab) RN - Interventional Cardiology
Join our dynamic cardiovascular team as a Cath Lab RN where you'll play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care during critical cardiac procedures. As part of our state-of-the-art cardiac catheterization laboratory, you'll work alongside leading cardiologists and healthcare professionals in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Perform and assist with complex cardiac procedures including catheterizations, coronary interventions, EP device implementation, and structural heart procedures (LAAC, TAVR)
- Execute interventional radiology, neuro diagnostic interventions, and endovascular procedures
- Coordinate patient care throughout procedures, from transport to recovery
- Maintain detailed clinical documentation and prepare procedure documentation for physician review
- Manage emergency cases with confidence and precision
- Foster effective team communication using SBAR methodology
- Mentor and orient new team members
Required Qualifications:
- Active RN license in good standing
- Associates Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- 2-3 years Cath Lab experience
- Current BLS/BCLS and ACLS certifications
- Critical care or Emergency Department experience preferred
- Strong organizational and stress management skills
- Excellence in clinical decision-making and patient care
