Sterile Processing Department (SPD) Manager - Healthcare Leadership Opportunity

Essential Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of sterile processing technicians, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards including DOH, TJC, OSHA, CDC, AAMI, and AORN
• Oversee daily operations of instrument reprocessing, sterilization, and distribution
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain quality standards
• Collaborate with Surgical Services and other departments to optimize workflow
• Manage department budget and inventory control
• Coordinate staff scheduling, training, and professional development

Required Qualifications:

• Certified Sterile Processing Technician (CSPT) certification
• Minimum 2 years of sterile processing experience
• 2-3 years of healthcare management experience
• Vocational School Graduate
• Strong knowledge of surgical instruments and sterilization techniques
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification (must be obtained within 30 days)
