Senior Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Acute Care Specialist

We're seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our dynamic healthcare team, where you'll deliver exceptional respiratory care while working with state-of-the-art equipment in a supportive environment. Essential Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments including breath sounds, airway patency, and ventilation status
• Deliver and manage advanced respiratory care therapies including mechanical ventilation, oxygen therapy, and aerosol medications
• Conduct diagnostic procedures and interpret results to optimize respiratory treatment plans
• Lead emergency response situations requiring airway management and ventilation support
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Manage complex ventilator cases and assist in patient transport
• Document patient care and maintain accurate clinical records

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• Current state RRT license
• Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy (Bachelor's preferred)
• Ability to obtain BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certification within 30 days
• Ability to obtain NRP certification within 60 days
• Experience in acute care, LTAC, or similar healthcare settings
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
