Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical-Surgical Unit | Full-Time Position

Essential Responsibilities:

• Champion patient advocacy while maintaining strict confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and develop evidence-based care diagnoses
• Execute and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document patient care using electronic health records (EHR)
• Mentor and support nursing staff to promote excellence in patient care
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and best practice implementation

Required Qualifications:

• Current Florida RN license or ability to obtain prior to start date
• Minimum 2 years of recent Medical-Surgical nursing experience
• Current BLS certification
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• ACLS certification (required within 6 months of hire)
• Experience with electronic health record systems
