Cardiac Telemetry and Neuro RN - Critical Care Unit

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Cardiac Telemetry and Neuro Registered Nurse in our state-of-the-art 27-bed critical care unit. We're seeking an experienced RN who excels in providing comprehensive care for cardiac and neurological patients while maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and satisfaction.

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide expert cardiac and neurological patient care, including post-CAB surgery, MI, and chest pain management
• Perform continuous patient monitoring, assessment, and care plan development
• Execute physician-prescribed treatments and medication administration
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Implement health teaching and wellness promotion strategies
• Document patient care activities in electronic health records

Required Qualifications:

• Current Florida State RN license (or ability to obtain within 90 days if holding compact license)
• Minimum 3 years of recent acute care RN experience with specific telemetry and cardiac expertise
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications from American Heart Association
• NIHSS Certification (must obtain within 30 days of employment)
• Nursing Diploma or ASN (BSN preferred)
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills
