Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) - Level I Trauma Center

Core Responsibilities:

• Perform rapid patient assessment, triage, and emergency interventions across all age groups
• Manage multiple high-acuity cases simultaneously while maintaining exceptional care standards
• Implement individualized care plans and monitor patient progress
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, specialists, and support staff
• Coordinate patient transfers and communicate with various hospital departments
• Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records
• Provide comprehensive discharge instructions and coordinate follow-up care

Required Qualifications:

• Current Florida RN license or multi-state license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
• Minimum 1 year of recent acute care ER nursing experience
• Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma (BSN preferred)
• Current BLS certification (required at start)
• ACLS and PALS certification (must obtain within 90 days)
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification (must obtain within 90 days)
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
