Position Overview

As our Hand Therapy Occupational Therapist, you'll evaluate, plan, and implement comprehensive treatment programs for patients across the lifespan, specializing in upper extremity rehabilitation. Core Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide specialized hand therapy interventions and manual therapy techniques
• Create custom splints and orthotic devices for upper extremity conditions
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Supervise and mentor support staff
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and program development
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control standards

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current Florida State Occupational Therapy License
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in electronic medical records systems

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-2 years of hand therapy experience
• CHT certification or working toward certification
• Experience with custom splint fabrication
