Clinical Manager, Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU)

A leading healthcare facility is seeking an experienced Clinical Manager to lead our Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU). This role offers the opportunity to drive clinical excellence, mentor staff, and shape patient care outcomes in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of CVICU nurses while ensuring optimal patient care and outcomes
• Drive clinical excellence through implementation of evidence-based practices and quality initiatives
• Oversee daily unit operations, including staffing, scheduling, and resource management
• Manage department budget and identify cost optimization opportunities
• Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain accreditation standards
• Foster interdepartmental collaboration and care coordination
• Champion patient experience initiatives and staff engagement programs
• Monitor and evaluate nursing care quality metrics and clinical outcomes

Required Qualifications:

• Current RN license in good standing
• Minimum 1-2 years of recent CVICU leadership experience (Manager or Supervisor level preferred)
• 3-5 years of staff-level CVICU clinical experience
• Associate's Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
• Current BCLS certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
• ACLS certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
• NIH Stroke Scale certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
• Strong clinical and leadership competencies in cardiovascular care
