Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical/Surgical Unit - Acute Care Setting

Essential Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and monitoring throughout admission and scheduled shifts
• Execute physician orders and maintain accurate, timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR)
• Administer medications and monitor therapeutic responses while ensuring patient safety
• Provide direct patient care and respond promptly to patient needs and requests
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Deliver patient and family education regarding treatment plans, medications, and post-discharge care
• Implement evidence-based nursing practices and maintain compliance with hospital protocols

Required Qualifications:

• Current, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice
• Minimum of 1 year acute care Medical-Surgical nursing experience
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred
• BCLS certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire)
• Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Experience with electronic health record systems
