Position Overview
As Nursing Manager, you'll provide strategic leadership for our ICU unit, overseeing clinical operations, staff development, and quality patient care initiatives. This role combines clinical expertise with operational management to drive exceptional patient outcomes.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of critical care nursing professionals
- Oversee unit operations, including staffing, scheduling, and budget management
- Drive quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice implementation
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital policies
- Manage clinical outcomes through monitoring of key performance indicators
- Implement best practices in critical care nursing and patient safety
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care
- Maintain clinical expertise in critical care procedures and protocols
Required Qualifications
- Current Kansas RN license
- BSN required, MSN preferred
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Minimum 3 years ICU nursing experience
- Demonstrated leadership experience

- Excellence in EKG interpretation, ventilator management, and critical care protocols
