Cardiac Care Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical Telemetry Unit

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Cardiac Care Registered Nurse in our state-of-the-art 36-bed Cardiac Specialty Unit. We're seeking an experienced RN who excels in critical thinking and thrives in a fast-paced environment where excellence in patient care is our priority.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, ECGs, and manage critical cardiac events
• Provide specialized care for patients with various cardiac conditions, including chest pain, stroke, and post-operative recovery
• Administer and monitor cardiac medications and drips
• Coordinate patient care with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Implement evidence-based nursing interventions and therapeutic treatments
• Document patient care activities and maintain accurate medical records
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient education

Required Qualifications:

• Current RN license from Missouri State Board of Nursing or Multistate Compact license
• Minimum 1 year acute care nursing experience
• Diploma, ADN, or BSN from an accredited nursing program
• Current BLS certification
• Ability to obtain ACLS certification within 1 year of hire
• Strong critical thinking and assessment skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
