Cardiac Care Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical Telemetry Unit
Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Cardiac Care Registered Nurse in our state-of-the-art 36-bed Cardiac Specialty Unit. We're seeking an experienced RN who excels in critical thinking and thrives in a fast-paced environment where excellence in patient care is our priority.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, ECGs, and manage critical cardiac events
- Provide specialized care for patients with various cardiac conditions, including chest pain, stroke, and post-operative recovery
- Administer and monitor cardiac medications and drips
- Coordinate patient care with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Implement evidence-based nursing interventions and therapeutic treatments
- Document patient care activities and maintain accurate medical records
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient education
Required Qualifications:
- Current RN license from Missouri State Board of Nursing or Multistate Compact license
- Minimum 1 year acute care nursing experience
- Diploma, ADN, or BSN from an accredited nursing program
- Current BLS certification
- Ability to obtain ACLS certification within 1 year of hire
- Strong critical thinking and assessment skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
